RATIONALES
Panel on Higher Education Reform will be Serbian experts’ summit aiming to explore a wider context of ten years of higher education modernisation reform in Serbia, and to envisage development in the next ten years.
This event is a part of activities under the scheme of STREW tempus project and can be seen as a follow up of the following events organised under the scheme of Novi Sad initiative:

PARTICIPANTS
Forum has gathered participants representing a variety of institutions, experiences and responsibilities including representatives of international organizations, ministries, higher education authorities, higher education policy centres and universities, as well as Serbian higher education experts.

PROGRAMME
Panel on Higher Education Reform in Serbia has been one-day event with four sessions:

  • Introductory Session
  • Wider Context of Higher Education Reform
  • Strategic Issues in Higher Education in Serbia
  • Panel: Decade of Higher Education Reform in Serbia

The introductory themes covered:

  • International perspective (UNESCO, RCC)
  • Internal perspective (MoES, MoST, NCHE and CAQA)
  • Experts’ and unions' views

The main idea behind the event was to provide an input for tuning reform strategy for the following ten years.
